Erik is more then a movie or great special effects to me; bellow his mask lies the heart of a tragic man who was different and hurt by society and outcasted. A man I connect to on a spiritual level. I don’t like superficial Phans I’m sorry, this Isn’t just a passing fad for me. I have been a Phan for 18 years. I'm sorry but if you don't appreciate Gaston Leroux you are a fool he is the one who wrote the story you are so in love with so respect the man. Know thy roots!!!
